Terms of trade

These Terms of Trade apply when a church, organisation, or group (the “Host”) engages Enhanced Relationships to deliver workshops, talks, or training. They help set clear expectations so your event runs smoothly.

Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the date(s), format, location, and any required travel, and you have received written confirmation from us.

Fees and payment

  • Workshop fees will be provided in writing as part of your booking confirmation.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable prior to the workshop date.
  • Any venue costs, catering, and local logistics arranged by the Host are the Host’s responsibility.

Travel and accommodation

If travel or accommodation is required, we will discuss this during booking. Where applicable, reasonable travel and accommodation costs may be invoiced in addition to the workshop fee.

Host responsibilities

  • Provide a suitable venue, seating, and any agreed AV requirements.
  • Promote and manage registrations (unless otherwise agreed).
  • Ensure a safe environment for attendees and presenters.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  • If the Host cancels more than 14 days before the event, we will refund any fees paid (less any non‑recoverable costs already incurred).
  • If the Host cancels within 14 days, we may retain a portion of the fee to cover preparation and scheduling costs.
  • Where possible, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule instead of cancelling.

Intellectual property

All workshop content, tools, slides, and handouts remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Host may use provided materials for the specific event, but may not copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute them beyond the event without permission.

Liability and disclaimer

Our workshops are educational in nature. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand consumer law where it applies.

Governing law

These Terms of Trade are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
