Terms of engagement

These Terms of Engagement apply to marriage coaching services provided by Enhanced Relationships to individual clients. They are designed to set clear expectations, protect confidentiality, and support a constructive coaching experience.

Services and scope

Marriage coaching is focused on practical skills, communication tools, and building healthy relationship patterns. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. If we believe additional professional support may be helpful, we may recommend seeking advice from a qualified professional.

Session length and fees

• Session fee: NZ$160 per couple per session.
• Sessions are typically around 60 minutes, with flexibility when the conversation is meaningful and productive.
• Payment is required before the session begins, unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling

• If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible.
• Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled without charge.
• Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged at our discretion to cover reserved time.

Confidentiality

We treat coaching conversations as confidential. We will not share your personal information or session details with third parties unless you consent, or we are legally required to do so (for example, where there is a serious risk to someone’s safety).

Client responsibilities

Coaching works best when both partners participate honestly and respectfully. You are responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take during and after coaching sessions.

Resources and intellectual property

Any tools, worksheets, or materials provided are for your personal use. They may not be reproduced, sold, or distributed without our permission.

Governing law

These Terms of Engagement are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
