Helping you understand yourself and your spouse.

How to create a blueprint for your own marriage relationship

Marriage is not something we clone from someone else, including our parents. We need to realise that every marriage is as unique as the house that we live in. Same building materials, just each constructed differently in some way.

What couples say

Real words from couples who have read The Marriage Toolbox.

★★★★★

“The Marriage Toolbox is a refreshingly honest and practical guide to building stronger relationships, written by David and Kim Jepsen. What sets this book apart is its down to earth tone. You can truly hear their voices as you read, which brings warmth and relatability to every chapter. Rather than offering vague advice, the Jepsens share seven clear, actionable skills to help couples strengthen their marriage. They cleverly use memorable tools like the Peace Pipe, Hourglass, Duct Tape, and Eraser to anchor key principles in a way that sticks. These metaphors are not only easy to recall, but they also bring a sense of lightness and accessibility to serious topics. Each chapter ends with practical Next Steps, which turn good intentions into meaningful change. Whether you’re newly married or decades in, this book has something valuable for every stage of the journey. The Marriage Toolbox is an engaging, useful, and genuinely helpful resource. David and Kim offer not just tools, but hope, and they do it with authenticity, clarity, and heart.”
